This is a given. The more quality content you write, the more people love it and search engines love it. The more people love it, the more likely they are to link to you bringing you additional traffic who people who might have the Alexa Toolbar installed. The same goes with search engines. Also you might get stumbled, get submitted to Digg or Reddit which will inturn bring in more visitors. Also, when DIgg overtook Slashdot, a bunch of Diggers installed the Alexa Toolbar.
